Parser attributes (ATT=) are line-specific definitions that assign meanings to a word, phrase, or mask shape. There are four Parser line attributes used depending on the type of line and data Parser:
- Name (CDP)
- Street (CDP)
- Geography (CDP)
- Miscellaneous (BDP and CDP)
If a particular word, phrase, or mask does not match any pre-defined attributes, you can assign it a user-defined attribute in the Customized Definition table. For example:
'n-nn-nan' MASK NAME DEF ATT=USER1
After a user-defined attribute is assigned, the corresponding attribute must be included in the Parser output. For instance, if a USER1 attribute is assigned a value in the Customized Definition table, the attribute PR_USER_FIELD_01 (for CDP) or BP_USER_01 (for BDP) must be added to the Parser output.
