The Relationship Linker and Reference Matcher processes generate three types of output entities:
- Transaction output entity. A regular output entity for the Relationship Linker and Reference Matcher. It contains records from the input/transaction entity and various matching information. To generate a transaction output entity, select the Generate Output Entity option in the Output Settings tab. This option is selected by default.
- Reference output entity. An output entity for the Reference Matcher only. It contains records from the reference/master entity that had a matching record in the input/transaction entity. See Specifying Reference Output Entity.
- Links output entity. A linking output entity for the Relationship Linker and Reference Matcher. It contains the actual one-to-one relationship information between linked records. See Using a Link File.
The Relationship Linker or Reference Matcher process requires at least one of the following output entities to be specified.
