After you have completed customizing the definitions file, tested the changes, and previewed the data, you need to save your changes permanently. (Until this point, you have been creating temporary files.)
To apply the new parsing rules to the repository
- Close the Parser Tuner. The window from which you launched the Parser Tuner should still be displayed. (If it is not, refer to About the Parser Tuner.)
- Click Finish and run the Parser.
- After the Parser step has finished running, launch the Parser Tuner.
- Verify that the new rules have corrected the problems by reviewing the Parsing Exceptions Analyzer.
