Trillium recommends that you configure the Trillium Geolocation REST Interface to use your own SSL certificates. This will ensure that the Trillium Geolocation deployment complies with your company’s security policy.
Your security policy may already specify how internal certificates are created. If not, various free-to-use tools for certificate and private key creation are available, such as the OpenSSL tools (for more information, see http://www.openssl.org).
On Linux, OpenSSL is already included in many Linux distributions or is available through the distribution's package manager. For Windows, several pre-built binary distributions are available.
For instructions on configuring the security certificate used by the Trillium Geolocation REST Interface, see Configuration Options.
