Global Datastore Update Only - trillium_geolocation - 15.21

If you have an existing Trillium Geolocation installation, you can choose to update the Global Datastore without updating the Trillium Geolocation software.

To update the Global Datastore only

1. Copy the contents of each data installation media to a separate directory on your filesystem.

2. Stop the Trillium Geolocation Server using the ./gactl stop command. For more details, see Starting Components. You need to stop the Trillium Geolocation REST Interface and Trillium Geolocation Batch Server, if they are running.

3. If you have manually reconfigured the product, ensure that no other Trillium Geolocation server processes, such as gaserver or gaprocessor, are running.

4. Navigate to the ‘utils’ directory within the Trillium Geolocation installation and run ‘./licdsloader.sh’ to launch the Trillium Geolocation Data Installer.

5. Follow the prompts to update your installation.

6. Repeat the process for each data installation media you have access to.

7. Restart the Trillium Geolocation components stopped in Step 2.
