A pre-configured certificate supplied by Precisely is installed with the Trillium Geolocation software and is intended only for temporary use until you configure a certificate that you purchase.

Two files named service.cer and servicepkey.pem are located in the install_path/Trillium Geolocation/glrest/security/service directory.

The file service.cer contains the pre-configured certificate used by the REST Interface. The associated private key is in the file servicepkey.pem.

Note: The pre-configured certificate is keyed to 'localhostā€™. No customization of this certificate is performed during installation.

The pre-configured certificate has been signed by a further certificate named root.cer, which is also supplied as part of the installation. This is located in the install_path/Trillium Geolocation/glrest/security/root directory.

If required, this certificate can be deployed as a trusted root certificate in client environments.
