You can upload a file from your local system to the \export directory on the TSS repository server system for use in the Discovery Center. Any type of file is supported, including data files, rule files, schema files, text files, and so on. For example, upload a schema file to use when you add a data source to the repository.

Guidelines: Note the following:
  • You upload one file at a time.
  • If the server's \export directory contains a file with the same name of the file you are uploading, a unique ID will be added to the file name.
  • The files you upload can be used by any user with access to the repository server.

To upload a file to the repository server system

  1. On the navigation menu under Files, click Upload File to Server. The Upload File window opens.
  2. Click Browse. The Choose File to Upload window opens.
  3. Navigate to and select the file you want to upload.
  4. Click Open. The file name and extension display in the File Name field .
  5. Click Upload. A confirmation message opens and confirms that the file successfully uploaded to the following directory: C:\ProgramData\Trillium Software\MBSW\17.3\Data\export.
  6. Click OK to close the message.
