Data Discovery
- Tab Drill Downs
-
Many tabs in the Discovery Center can be drilled-down from to see additional details. To drill down, you double-click a row.
-
Figure 4. tabs example
Drilling down opens new tabs or refreshes existing tabs to show associated data and metadata about the current repository object you are examining (business rule failing rows, data rows in a data source, and so on). You toggle (click) between tabs. Some tabs can be closed by clicking the X to the right of the tab name. You can have multiple tabs open at a time. If you have more tabs open than fit on the page, you may need to scroll through the tabs by clicking the arrows to the left or right of the tabs.

- Bookmarks
-
To bookmark a page you want to return to, use your browser's favorites or bookmark feature. For example, if you have created a filter to find a specific sub-set of data sources, bookmark the results view.
- Back and Forward
-
The Discovery Center dynamically remembers the state of a page as you go back or to the next (forward) page using your browser's back and forward buttons. If the object you are viewing has been deleted from the repository server, it is no longer available to view.
