When you log in to the Discovery Center, the Home page opens. The Home page includes menus and task panels from which you start analyzing your data and reviewing the results. The Home page includes four task panels which serve as quick-start navigation tools for your tasks. Return to the Home page at any time to use these panels by clicking the Home icon () on the menu bar or the Discovery Center title in the top left of the interface.

Updated in version 17.3 Added minigrids on the home page that display five recently created data sources, rules, and join analyses.

The four task panels include:

  • Find. Search for business rules, data sources, and joins analyses.
  • Add. Add new business rules, data sources, join analysis, and rule sets.
  • Edit. Edit properties of a business rule or data source.
  • Run. Run business rule analysis and view the status of rule analysis and other tasks.
Note: If there are no business rules, data sources, or join analyses in the repository, then only the Add panel is enabled.
The three grids include:
  • Data Sources: Displays five recently created data sources in descending order by date.
  • Rules: Displays five recently created rules in descending order by date.
  • Join Analyses: Displays five recently created join analyses in descending order by date.
Note:
  • Double-click a row in the grid to open the page for the selected item. For example, double-clicking a row in the Data Sources grid opens the page for the selected data source.
  • Click the grid title or the View All button to open the View page of the corresponding grid. For example, clicking the Join Analyses grid title opens the View Joins page.
