To send system event notifications to other repository users, your repository administrator must first configure your repository server for email notifications. Ask your administrator to set up email notifications if you do not have access to this feature.

Change type Description
Introduced in version 17.3 Ability to set up email notifications to notify repository users about the event occurred.
Note: From version 17.0, Trillium also supports TLS protocol for email notifications.

Trillium can notify repository users about the event status for:

  • Business Rule events
  • Export of List View rows
  • Data Import (load) jobs

The notification tells you whether the event is successful, completed, or failed.

To configure email notifications

  1. In the main navigation menu, select Advanced > Email Notifications. A list of email notifications, categorized by event type, displays in a List View.
    Tip: Use the Export Results button to download the selected rows or all rows as a .csv file.
    Event Type Email contains…
    Business Rule Failed Error message, job name, and description for each business rule that fails. It also includes the passing fraction, indicating the percentage of business rules that succeeded compared to those that failed.
    Business Rule Succeeded Successful result message, job name, and description for each business rule that succeeds. It also includes the passing fraction, indicating the percentage of business rules that succeeded compared to those that failed.
    Exported Rows Completed Job name and number of rows that were successfully exported.
    Exported Rows Failed Job name and error message.
    Load Job Completed Job name and number of rows loaded.
    Load Job Failed Job name and error message.
  2. Double-click an event type in the list to edit email notification options.
  3. In the Email Notification Options window, specify the email recipients and text message you want to send.
  4. Click OK.

    This change takes effect immediately, and remains in effect until you change it again.
