You can load data into one or more dynamic data sources. This creates a
profiled data source that includes all metadata and profiling statistics available.
You can then associate the data source to rule sets in the library, add more robust
business rules, and use the data source when creating joins, keys, and dependencies.
You load all available data rows immediately using the original data
connection, source data file, and sample parameters.
To load data into a dynamic
data source
-
Click View Data Sources from the navigation menu and run a data
source search for dynamic data sources.
-
From the Find Data Sources results view, on the Data Sources tab, select one or
more dynamic data sources. A dynamic data source is indicated by a bolt icon (). If you click Select
Page or select multiple data sources including profiled data sources, the data
load will be performed only on dynamic data sources.
-
Click Load Data >Load Now. A message opens to confirm the data is loading immediately. Click
OK to close the message.
-
Click Refresh to update the Data Sources tab information. When the data
source is loaded, it will no longer display the bolt icon ().
