Data sources are essential to working with your data and understanding the content, structure, and relationships that exist. Open a data source in the Discovery Center to access the following tools to examine your data sources:
- Data Source Metadata. All available information about your data generated when the data source is created.
- Data Source Summary. Shows information about a data source, including type, who loaded the data, and the date and time the data was loaded.
- Editing Data Source Properties. Shows insight into attribute data rows, metadata, business rules, and rule set associations.
- Data Source Attribute Details. Shows metadata for each attribute in the data source.
- Data Visualization Tools. Charts, graphs, and tables that show overviews of the structure and content of your data sources and attributes. These graphical tools provide at-a-glance insight into potential data problems that you may need to investigate further.
Note: If the data source is dynamic, only a subset of metadata is available.
