When you discover keys, you configure how unique the key analysis should be and whether to run analysis against a single attribute or multiple attributes.
To configure options for keys
- In the Create or Discover Keys window, click the Configure tab.

To configure discover options, keep the defaults or change them as follows:
Configure Option Description Key uniqueness: At least n %
Enter a percentage that indicates the level of uniqueness that qualifies a key. The default is 98%.

If you are looking for expected keys not discovered during data import, setting this value at 98% will tag as a potential key any attribute in the data source that contains values 98% unique or better.
Key type
Select one of the following:
- Single Attribute - Select to find only primary keys.
- Multiple Attributes - Select to find primary and composite keys.
Number of attributes that represent a compound key
When you select Multiple Attributes for key type, enter the maximum number of combined attributes to include in the analysis. The higher the number, the longer the analysis will take. The default is 2. - Optional: Click Reset to Defaults to revert options back to the defaults.

Do one of the following:
- Click Continue to save your settings and open the Finish tab. See Configure Sampling and Finish Discovered Keys.
- Click Cancel to close the window without saving your work.
