Select and Name Dependencies - trillium_discovery - Latest

The first step in adding dependencies is selecting whether to create or discover dependencies.

To select and name dependencies

1. Open the Create or Discover Dependencies window (see Creating and Discovering Dependencies).
2. On the Select tab, click Create or Discover.
3. Keep the default Analysis Name, or enter another name. By default, the Analysis Name field is populated as follows:

   Discover-Dep or Create-Dep--data source name-current date (YYYYMMDD). For example, if you are creating a dependency for a data source named New York Data on June 2, 2017, then the default analysis name would be Create-Dep-New York Data-20170602.

4. Do one of the following:
   • Click Continue to save your settings and open the Configure tab.
   • Click Cancel to close the Create or Discover Dependencies window without saving your work.
