The first step when adding associations is to select the type of association you want to perform and the data source(s) you want to associate to the current rule set.
To select data sources

In the Add Data Source Associations to Rule Set window, click the Select tab.

In the Association Task drop-down list select one of the following options:

Associate to Data Source (the default). All data sources that are not associated with the current rule set display.

Copy to Data Source. All data sources in the repository display.

Edit Mappings. All data sources that are associated with the rule set display. This selection is only available if you are editing existing associations.
The list of data sources populates. The list varies depending on the task you selected.

Select one or more data sources from the list.

Do one of the following:
- Click Continue to save your settings and open the Map tab. See Map Data Sources.
- Click Cancel (or X) to close the window without saving your
work.
