The Business Rules Library is a centralized location where rule sets and library rules are stored and shared. Create associations with the Library and rules and attributes in a data source. Changes made in the Library propagate wherever the rule is used. You can group library rules in a rule set to maintain a set of standards. Copy rules to data sources and export rule sets for use in other repositories.
Use the Library to:
- Group library rules and attributes in rule sets.
- Supply new business rules to a data source.
- Import and export library rules for use across multiple repositories.
- Help minimize maintenance and duplication of effort, avoid confusion, and maintain the standards you use to keep data quality consistent in your business.
The Library is available:
- From the navigation menu.
- To multiple users to share business rules across data sources.
