The Maximum Failing Rows Returned option is an index control that determines business rule drill-down performance. In general, adding an index increases the speed of failing row drill-downs (although larger indexes consume more disk space). There are three options for how indexing controls the maximum number of failing rows returned:
- Default. An index is created for failing rows, up to the default threshold of 10,000. If the number of returned failing rows is higher than 10,000, no index is created. This value cannot be changed.
- Unlimited. A full index is created for all failing rows.
- Custom. Allows you to customize the number of failing rows returned (indexed), up to the number entered in the text field. The default is 16,000. This value can be changed.
