The Trillium Administration Center is a secure browser-based application from which Trillium repository administrators add, monitor, and manage data repositories and data connections for Trillium Discovery Center users. Administrators can also configure and launch connections to web services.

The following activities are available in the Administration Center:

Add Repositories

A repository stores data and metadata (information about your data). You can add one or more repositories to enable Discovery Center users to sign in, load (or link to) their data, and run profiling activities. When you add a repository, review available data connections and add a new data connection as needed.

Add Data Connections

Add at least one data connection for each type of external data source, including HDFS delimited, to which Discovery Center users plan to connect. When adding a connection, you can restrict repository access to ensure that users logged into that repository cannot see or use the connection when adding data sources.

Search Repositories, Data Connections, and Tasks

The Administration Center provides an efficient way to search repositories, data connections, and tasks using queries with one or more conditions.

Add and Launch Web Service Addresses

From one centralized location you configure, store, and launch connections to web service addresses.

Monitor Tasks

You can view the progress of queued and running Discovery Center tasks, such as business rule analysis, rule set imports, and data source creation. The Task Manager and Task Queue list the status of jobs that were executed against all repositories on the current repository server and provide important information when multiple processes are running .

Exporting Tab Rows

When you open or drill down to rows in a tab view, you can save the data displayed in the tab by exporting it as a comma-separated value (CSV) file. Save the file to your local (client) system to share and view the file in other applications.
