The Administration Center provides Discovery Center and Trillium Software System administrators the ability to manage repositories and data connections used by Trillium Discovery and Control Center users, and view and launch web services.
The interface is designed to allow you to add, view, and manage repository objects and activities needed for the maintenance and security of TS Quality data quality and profiling projects.
This topic describes the areas, menus, and tasks in the Administration Center you use to complete work.
- Title Bar

The top title bar is always available and displays the ID of the user currently logged in to the Administration Center and the Log Out button.Figure 1. title bar
- Menu Bar

The second top bar is always available and displays the following items:
- Home ( ). Click to return to the Home page at any time.
- Task Queue. Shows the number of active Discovery Center tasks in the queue. Click to see more information about the status of running and waiting tasks.
- Tasks. Click to open the Task Manager which shows all available information about the status of running and waiting Discovery Center jobs in the task queue.
- Refresh. Click to refresh the data displayed on the current page. If you have unsaved changes, you will be prompted to save them before the page refreshes.
- Universal search box. Enter the partial or full name of the repository or data connection you want to find and click the object type in the drop-down list. The search results page for repositories or data connections opens showing all results for the object with the search keyword in the name.
- Settings. Click to open the Settings window and configure the cache size for all data connections on the repository server.

Help menu. Click Help to see the following options:
- Select Open Online Help to open the Administration Center Help.
- Select Contact Precisely Support to open the Customer Support website. (An active maintenance plan is required to obtain customer support for Trillium.)
- Click About Administration Center to open information about the Administration Center version, server build, server name, port number, browser version, and copyright.

- Navigation Menu

The navigation menu on the left side of the Administration Center is organized into three task categories: Data Access, Task Monitoring, and Web Services. Click a category to open and hide the menu links it contains.
Note: Click Hide Menu to hide the navigation menu to save space on your screen. Click Show Menu to display the hidden menu.The following links are available from the navigation menu:

Data Access
- Manage Repositories. Search through all repositories and filter the available repositories using conditions.
- New Repository. Configure and add a new repository to the current repository server.
- Manage Data Connections. Search through all data connections and filter the available connections using conditions.
- New Data Connection. Add a new data connection to an external data source. Data connections are used by repositories to connect to external data files and load data into the Discovery Center.
- Launch Discovery Center. Launches the log in page to the Discovery Center in a new tab or browser window.

Task Monitoring
- Manage Tasks. Track the progress of tasks run by Discovery Center users.

Web Services
- Launch Web Services. Access all available web service connections from a single location. Also, add new web services as needed.

When you search for repositories and connections to manage, the results display in tabs showing metadata about the object. To drill down from the tab, double-click a row to open properties to view and modify.

Double-click a row on the Data Connections tab to open the Data Connection: Name panel. For example, clicking the top row in the above example opens the following Data Connection: TSQ panel.
The green check next to the name signifies that the connection is enabled for use by one or more repositories.
- Bookmarks

To bookmark a page you want to return to, use your browser's favorites or bookmark feature. For example, if you have created a filter to find a specific sub-set of repositories, bookmark the results view.
- Back and Forward

The Administration Center dynamically remembers the state of a page as you go back or to the next (forward) page using your browser's back and forward buttons. If the object you are viewing has been deleted from the repository server, it is no longer available to view.
