Open the Task Manager for a detailed view of the status of Discovery Center tasks running against all repositories on the current repository server. View metadata about the tasks including the type of task, status, and percentage of completeness. You can run a search to find specific tasks. For example, search on tasks run on a certain date, by a certain user, and on a certain repository.
Note the following when working with the Task Manager:
- The Auto Refresh menu controls how often the task metadata is refreshed. The setting persists for as long as you are logged in to the current repository.
- You can export the metadata of one or more tasks shown in the Task Manager as a .CSV file to your client system. See Exporting Tasks.
- Most tasks in the Task Manager are also displayed in the Background Tasks view in the Control Center.
