You can export the metadata of one or more tasks shown in the Task Manager as a .CSV file to your client system. Metadata is exported for visible columns only. Add hidden columns as needed before running the export. If you have filtered the view by running a search, only the rows returned will be exported.

To export rows in the Task Manager

  1. Open the Task Manager.
  2. Click Filtered Search to run a search using conditions to filter the list of tasks you want to export.
  3. On the Tasks in Queue tab, select one or more rows you want to export by clicking the check box, or anywhere in the row, to highlight it. To select multiple rows, press the Ctrl or Shift key and click the rows you want to export. Click Select Page to select all rows on the page. Navigate to other pages and click Select Page to add more rows.
  4. Click Export Results and select Export Selected Rows or Export All Rows. The Export Rows window opens.
Note: Choosing Export All Rows exports all rows, not just those shown in the current view.
  5. Enter a file name. Do not include any of the following invalid characters in the file name: \ / : * ? " < > |
  6. Click Export. When prompted, open the file, or do one of the following:
    • Click Save. The file is exported to your browser's default download location: C:\Users\username\Downloads. If there is a file with the same name in the download location, the file name will be appended with a unique number.
    • Click Save As to save the file to a specific location. In the Save As window, browse to the location where you want to save the file and click Save. If there is a file with the same name in the download location, you are prompted to replace the file. Click Yes to replace the file or No and then enter a unique name. Click Save.
    • Click Save and Open to save the file to the default location and open the file now. If there is a file with the same name in the download location, the new file name will be appended with a unique number.
