You can restrict the number of rows that you see in a tab view using filters. For example, you might want to list only those rows from among dozens of repositories that contain specific keywords. By default, all rows are listed and filtering is off. You can add filters to one or many columns.

Note: Not available on the at-a-glance views on the Home page.
Guidelines:
  • For each column you can add a maximum of two filters.
  • When you add multiple filters to a column, the filters are combined using AND or OR conditions.
  • When AND is specified, the filtered list shows only those rows that match both filters.
  • When OR is specified, the filtered list shows all rows that match either filter.
  • A null search is available only for string columns. Enter "" (two double quotes) to search for null values.
  • The Administration Center dynamically remembers any filters that are set as you go back or to the next (forward) page using your browser's native back and forward buttons. As a result, when you navigate back/forward to where you applied the filters, the filtered view is preserved.

To filter rows by a specific column

  1. Click the down arrow next to the column name.
  2. Click Filter.
  3. Define the filter condition as needed, depending on the column data:
    • If the column shows a numeric value (other than a date), choose from:
      • Is equal to
      • Is not equal to
      • Is greater than or equal to
      • Is greater than
      • Is less than or equal to
      • Is less than
    • If the column shows a date (for example, Date Created), choose from:
      • Is equal to
      • Is not equal to
      • Is after or equal to
      • Is after
      • Is before or equal to
      • Is before
    • If the column shows a string value, choose from:
      • Contains
      • Does not contain
      • Is equal to
      • Is not equal to
      • Starts with
      • Ends with
      • Is greater than or equal to
      • Is greater than
      • Is less than or equal to
      • Is less than
      • Is null
      • Is not null
    • For the Built (repositories) columns and the Enabled and Single Sign-On (connections) columns, choose from:
      • Yes
      • No
  4. For most column filters, you can enter the keyword by which to filter in the text field below. For example, to show just those data connections created by the user jburlington, in the filter for the Created By column, select Contains and enter the filter keyword jburlington in the field below.

For columns that show a date, you can populate the text field by clicking the calendar icon to the right of the field () and selecting a month and date.

  5. Click Filter. The list refreshes immediately and shows the rows that match the filter. You will see a filter Indicator (filter icon) next to the column name that shows the column is filtered.
Note: For columns that are both locked and filtered, the column will display the filter Indicator.
