MFX options have been added in SYNCMAC as follows:

  • COLLKEY - Specifies the collation rules to be used for Unicode (UTF8/UTF16/UTF32) field processing. User may select a different Version or Locale or Variant using the COLLKEY as installation option or as runtime PARM in the JCL. For more information, refer to the COLLKEY Option in the Syncsort™ MFX Installation.
  • EXITCK- Defines the Syncsort™ MFX state to terminate or continue when it receives certain invalid return codes from E15 or E35 user exit routines. For more information, refer to the EXITCK Option in the Syncsort™ MFX Installation.
  • SIEXCPEC - By setting the SIEXCPEC=YES/NO parameter and using either Installation option or Run time parameter, the SORTIN decryption feature can be turned ON or OFF. This feature supports basic and large format files using EXCP encryption macros. For more information, refer to the SIEXCPEC Option in the Syncsort™ MFX Installation.
  • SOEXCPEC - By setting the SOEXCPEC=YES/NO parameter and using either Installation option or Run time parameter, the SORTOUT encryption feature can be turned ON or OFF. This feature supports basic and large format files using EXCP encryption macros. For more information, refer to the SOEXCPEC Option in the Syncsort™ MFX Installation.
  • SORTL - Specifies to enable or disable the MFX algorithm. The MFX algorithm utilizing the Sort Accelerator is automatically enabled. The Sort Accelerator is used to reduce CPU usage and improve Elapsed time for eligible workloads. For more information, refer to the SORTL Option in the Syncsort™ MFX Installation.
  • SZERO - On specifying SZERO, the MFX will treat numeric decimal (for example, SFF/UFF/ASF/AUF) of -0 and +0 as different values. For more information, refer to the SZERO Option in the Syncsort™ MFX Installation.
