SIEXCPEC=YES/NO By setting the SIEXCPEC=YES/NO parameter and using either Installation option or Run time parameter, the SORTIN decryption feature can be turned ON or OFF. This feature supports basic and large format files using EXCP encryption macros.
This option specifies whether to use EXCP encryption method for SORTIN data sets during the SORT process.
SIEXCPEC=YES
The delivered default enables the use of EXCP encryption method for SORTIN data sets. You do not have to relink the SYNCMAC options to get the expected result.
SIEXCPEC=NO
This disables the use of EXCP encryption method for SORTIN data sets.
To disable this enhanced function globally, the SYNCMAC options must be relinked with SIEXCPEC=NO. Or, you can pass the run time parameter per job level.
The function is activated on applying the following prerequisite IBM PTFs. The WER565I message will be displayed if MFX uses the EXCP interface successfully for the SORTIN decrypted data set.
