The RSRVTIX option is used to reserve memory above the 16-megabyte line for system or exit requirements during a program-initiated sort.
This option will be in effect if the execution time parameter CORE is not passed, or if CORE is set to MAX when it is passed. Information about the equivalent execution time parameter RESERVEX can be found in the Syncsort™ MFX Programmers Guide.
The amount of storage to be reserved may be specified in bytes (nnnnnnnn), kilobytes (nK) or megabytes (nM).
The default is 0.
