DSORGDAThe DSORGDA option permits the use of a random access data set (DSORG=DA) as input to the sort/merge. Note that dummy records will not be recognized as such but will be sorted with the rest of the SORTIN file. The default is to accept only physical sequential (PS) and partitioned organized (PO) members as input.
