Create a copy of the UserSettings.xml. By default, Athene saves UserSettings.xml in C:\Program-Data\Metron\AthenePortal.

• In v12.50, the default portal name AthenePortal changes to SyncsortCapacityManagementPortal

Record the current Portal install directories. The default Portal install directory for older versions of Athene is C:\Program Files (x86)\Athene Portal Web Site.

Record any changes to the web.config file.

• For example, any of the <appSettings> keys

• By default, Athene saves web.config in C:\Program Files (x86)\Athene Portal Web Site\AthenePortal.
