The Syncsort™ Capacity Management Acquire for Windows is able to capture performance data from a number of different operating systems and applications, summarized in the table below. Acquire for Windows is only distributed as a 64-bit version. See details of the Acquire for Windows 9.10 for 32-bit systems.

The following 64-bit operating systems are supported for local data capture:

  • Windows 7 64-bit
  • Windows 10 64-bit
  • Windows Server 2008 R2 GUI or Core
  • Windows 2012 and 2012 R2 GUI or Core
  • Windows Server 2016 GUI or Core
  • Windows Server 2019
  • Windows Server 2022

Windows Operating System (WMI agentless Acquire)

The following 64-bit operating systems are supported for capture of data through WMI:

  • Windows 7 64-bit
  • Windows 10 64-bit
  • Windows 2008 R2 or Core
  • Windows 2012 and 2012 R2 GUI or Core
  • Windows Server 2016 GUI or Core
  • Windows Server 2019
  • Windows Server 2022
Note:
  • WMI Acquire captures Windows Terminal Server overview data, it does not capture per-session statistics. This is a lim­itation of WMI.
  • Windows 2012 and later no longer provides some Terminal Services metrics.
  • Due to minimal use by customers, Windows 8 and 8.1 test­ing has not been performed with this version of Acquire.
