Acquires are able to capture performance data from a number of different operating systems and applications. Refer to the table Supported Platforms for details.
New versions of Acquire are only produced for environments still in support with their vendors.
Control Center for Syncsort™ Capacity Management supports processing of data captured by older Acquires but there is no guarantee to fix issues arising during capture if the source operating system or environment is no longer supported by its vendor.
All Linux systems must be running the 2.6 kernel as a minimum. Nothing older is supported.
