Syncsort™ Capacity Management connects to SQL Server databases through standard Microsoft driver modules. As of June 30, 2018, all supported browsers and platform providers deprecated the TLS 1.0 security protocol. You can disable TLS 1.0 in-flight by adjusting registry keys and most Microsoft products no longer use it, including SQL Server.
To ensure connectivity to all applications is maintained, from Athene 11.20 onwards, you must install the “SQL Server 2012 Native Client” software on any machine running any of the following Syncsort™ Capacity Management Core applications.
-
Analyst
-
Automatic Reporting through the Schedule Editor, including Advisor and Define a Report
-
Data Management
-
Planner (Build or Edit Baseline for System z or non-System z)
