Up to and including the Athene 11.00 Acquire for z/OS you could choose to have zAAP and zIIP usage converted to CP-equivalent or not by use of the ZNORM= parameter.

As of the Athene 11.30 of Acquire and Syncsort™ Capacity Management onwards, ZNORM=Y is now enforced. As part of upgrading your Syncsort Capacity Management database, all stored zAAP and zIIP metrics will automatically be converted to their normalized value.

The Portal provides the denormalized metrics in metrics with names of the form <metric name [R] units>, for example Charged zIIP Time [R] secs – the [R] denotes the “reported” value.

You may have to manually adjust your reporting after upgrading to show the [R] metrics if that is what you were doing. There is no automatic way to do this.
