Warnings are similar to Information messages in that they do not represent a serious issue, but they are issues that you may need to be aware of.

Description

Remedial Action

Already inserted…

The Capacity Database only holds one set of data for a given interval. If the Control Center picks up a data file that has already been processed, the new data is discarded. That is, the Capacity Database is not updated with the new data.

If the user wants to update the Capacity Database with the new data that the Control Center is trying to process, the previous data for the interval should be deleted via Data Management before the Control Center tries to re-process.

No Matching Template

The Control Center is unable to understand the data being processed as it does not to conform to any existing template, where a template describes to the Control Center how the data is structured and how it maps into a Capacity Database.

The most common cause is that the Acquire files are

completely empty

contain header information only

are corrupt

Alternatively, it may be that a new version of the operating system or data source has changed the format that data is provided.

Check the contents of the Acquire files to try and determine the cause.

If the Acquire files are empty, contain header information only, or appear corrupt then, check:

Permissions are set accordingly for the Acquire to access the required information

The correct version of Acquire is installed

Note: Acquire files are typically compressed so will need to be decompressed to read.

If the files appear normal, Support will require several intervals of data for diagnosis

Target '00000008', file '20071128092200_NZSQ00000008.16' : No database target for target '00000008' with database '20071128092200_NZSQ00000008.16'

This warning occurs when the Control Center tries to process some database metrics that have been captured and collected via a capture profile associated with a host operating system target where no corresponding database target has been defined.

Consequently, the Control Center has nowhere to store the data.

Two possible solutions:

Remove the database element from the Capture profile associated with the host target if database metrics are not really required

Create a Database Target and associate it with the host target. For full details on creating a database target refer to the System Manager online help.

Ideally, the capture profile associated with the Database target will be the one that contains details of capture requirements for SQL data.

Win32 error [The referenced account is currently locked out and may not be logged on to. ]

This message is generated when the Control Center is trying to collect data from a target, the details (Target Number) of which are clearly included in the message.

When connection is attempted, it is rejected because the account is locked.

Contact Network Administrators to unlock the specified account. Use the target details screen in System Manager, for the identified Target, in order to determine the account details.

Win32 error [The pipe is being closed. ][Pipe write 3][Connection or authentication failure][ 24912 SFTP connection to 'DAL-SS-USRH047']

This could be caused by a time out error or authentication problem.

Increase the Timeout (seconds) in the “Connection Details” panel under the target in System Manager.

Make sure the username and password are correctly entered in the “Connection Details” panel under the target in System Manager.

Try manual sftp connection to the target server by typing

“..local location\bin\ssh2.exe –vv username@targetserver”
