Outgoing and Incoming Data

Since the Control Center is responsible for all communication with remote systems from which data is to be captured, it needs to handle both outgoing and incoming data transfer.

• Outgoing communication sends instructions to the Acquires (i.e., capture pro­files), and can also cause Acquires to be updated.

• Incoming communication is primarily the collection of the captured files of performance data.
