- Recreate the corrupt file with the appropriate level of Acquire
forz/OS for this Syncsort™ Capacity Management version, using the
gatekeeper parameters, making sure there are now no gaps.
- Transfer it to the Windows Share, replacing the corrupt
file.
|
No gaps in the database
Gatekeeper
will suspend collection again if there is a gap before
the first interval or between intervals in the next
file.
|
- Move GatekeeperNextExpected to the start of the interval
after the last gap in the file.
|
Gaps in the database for the intervals that were missing up to the
GatekeeperNextExpected.
Gatekeeper collects any intervals that are before the
GatekeeperNextExpected.
Gatekeeper will suspend
collection again if there is a gap after
GatekeeperNextExpected.
|
- Remove the G from the front of the file.
|
Gaps in the database spanning all the missing intervals and any
missing at the beginning of the next file.
File without the
G is collected, and the Gatekeeper restarts its checking
with the next file. Therefore: - Gatekeeper will not suspend collection again
if there is an unexpected gap at the beginning of the next
file.
- Gatekeeper will suspend collection again if
there are gaps between intervals in the next file.
