If you choose to allow a gap to be introduced into the database, you do this by setting a date and time a field in the Capacity Database.

You should set this field to a date and time to that of the first interval after one or more gaps where you want the Gatekeeper to resume checking. All files with dates and times before the one you set will be arbitrarily collected and processed and any gaps within or between files before that date and time will be arbitrarily introduced into the database.

Only when a file with a “G” prefix contains a date and time that matches, or is after what you set, will it be subject to Gatekeeper gap checking.

You can use a SQL statement to set the next expected date and time.
