The Scheduler Host machine runs the Syncsort™ Capacity Management Core Scheduler service, which is responsible for updating and dispatching Syncsort™ Capacity Management charts and reports.
A Firewall Exception is required if you want to dispatch updated items using the FTP dispatch mechanism. To set this up:
- Add the following program to the Firewall Exceptions List:Name: Syncsort Capacity Management Report GeneratorPath: C:\program files (x86)\Syncsort Capacity Management Core\automatic reporting\axm620.exe
Adjust the path if you have installed Syncsort™ Capacity Management to a different location, e.g., older installations of Syncsort™ Capacity Management will default to an Athene 8.00 folder within Program Files.
If you do not add the exception, you may see the following dialog the first time an item is dispatched via FTP:Figure 1. Windows Security Alert
- Click Unblock to create the required Firewall Exception.
