You can influence how Acquire handles CICS transactions using the CICSDICT= control card. There are 3 options available to you, CICDSICT=Y, N and A.
If CICSDICT=A is defaulted to, or explicitly specified then Acquire will ignore dictionary records even if they are read, and only use the automatic mapping facility.
CICSDICT=Y means that Acquire must have read a dictionary record and be able to match the SMF ID, CICS system name (APPLID) and CICS version, before processing transaction data.
CICSDICT=N can be specified to allow Acquire to use the internal facility if no matching dictionary record could be located.
