Some error conditions are so serious that Acquire cannot continue and will force an abend U0911 or U0666. This is a list of the messages that can be printed just prior to abending. Those without a message number will appear at the top of the job log as opposed to in the //IPLIST file.

For all these issues, send the full job log including a SYSABEND dump to Precisely Support.

ACQUIRE:ACQAPUT - INVALID MONTH NAME POINTED TO BY R2

Meaning: A month value not in the range of 01 - to 12 has been detected when converting an SMF date to the standard Acquire printable form of ddMMMyy.

ACQUIRE:ACQAPUT - DSNAME IN ERROR, POINTED TO BY R2

Meaning: A dataset name for the //ATHDATA file seems to contain more than 44 characters. This is not expected.

ACQUIRE:ACQAPUT BAD USS FILE SIZE POINTED TO BY R2

Meaning: The size of a compressed USS file is too large for Acquire to handle.

ACQUIRE:ACQAPUT OUTPUT RECORD ERROR, CANNOT CONTINUE

Meaning: An output record has been created that is longer than the LRECL of the //ATHDATA file.

ACQUIRE:ACQAPUT ERROR ACCESSING USS, CANNOT CONTINUE

Meaning: While access the UNIX subsyste,m an error has occurred, but USSONLY=Y is in effect so there nowhere else Acquire can write to.

ACQUIRE:ACQATHCF MORE THAN 63 COUPLING FACILI­TIES

Meaning: More than 63 Coupling Facility devices have been detected. Acquire will need to be amended to cater for a larger number.

ACQUIRE:ACQATHCF COULD NOT MATCH CF TO STRUCTURE

Meaning: A Coupling Facility structure has been found for which there was no Coupling Facility detail.

ACQUIRE:ACQATHCF STRUCTURE TABLE IS FULL

Meaning: The internal Coupling Facility structure table has filled up. Acquire will need to be amended to cater for a larger number.
