One of the ways in which the Acquire can communicate with the Control Center is via a
Network Share. As previously stated, this is the simplest and most straightforward
connection method. By default, the Acquire installer will create a hidden share called
ATHENE$ on the \Metron\Acquire folder. The Control Center
can then collect data, and send out capture profiles, using this network share name.
