A fresh installation of Acquire will, by default, use new locations for the program binaries and the input and output folders (APMIn and APMOut). The new locations will also be used if installing on a system where an earlier Acquire has been uninstalled.

As shown in the following table, the Microsoft standard install locations depend on the version of Windows on which Acquire is being installed.

The below table describes new and old installation locations. C:\ is assumed for clarity.
