Configure Web Service (IIS)
Follow these steps:
- Open the Add Roles and Features Wizard.Note: The Management tools are not essential, despite having been included.
- Select Web Server Role (IIS) from the Server Roles section.
- Within the Role Services section of the Web Server Role (IIS) section there
are unselected services that need to be selected. (Do not deselect any
options that are selected by default.)
Security group – Select Basic Authentication and URL Authorization.
Application Development group – Select Application Initialization, ASP.NET 4.5, 4.6, or 4.7 (choose the highest number available), NET Extensibility, ISAPI Extensions, and ISAPI Filters.
Common HTTP Features group – Select Static Content.
