You can obtain continuous performance data for longterm reporting, analysis and trending by running Acquire with RUNTYPE=COLLECT. Acquire can read through one or more datasets containing information about a single system and produce data for each of the measurement intervals in a single output file. You cannot process more than one system’s data at a time.
The output from this run is a dataset containing data for all the measurement intervals, ready for importing to a Capacity Database. To update the database with this kind of data, use the Syncsort™ Capacity Management Control Center.
