You can upload data from .csv files to Spectrum spatial repository and then add the layer to the current map. You can upload a new file or replace an existing file on the repository. When adding CSV or XLS as spatial data, you need to specify coordinates (longitude and latitude).
Note: This functionality is available to admins and sub-admins only.
Examine your data before uploading:
- Make sure that column separator is comma. If the record delimiter is not comma, then you gets the option to choose decimal character. If you have French locale file, choose comma as delimiter. For English locale choose decimal.
- While uploading a .csv file, whole column is dropped if column name is blank in the file.
- In case of duplicate column name, the values from last column is picked only and duplicate columns will not be displayed in callout, query and download.
- The first row (header) should contain column title and all other columns should have data. If a file does not contain any header then default column names are displayed, like column1, column2, column3 etc. in query, callout and downloaded file.
