You can use the Manage layers dialog to add any external tile service such as WMS, WMTS, Google, or Bing maps as a layer in your project.

To add external tiles as a layer in your project, follow the steps given below:

  1. Click or touch the Options icon on the upper right corner of the map to open the Options panel.
  2. Click Map Project.
  3. Click Project settings.
  4. Click the Manage Layers button.
    The Manage Layers panel opens. Click the Manage layers button to open the Manager layers dialog box. A list of external tile services appear.
  5. From the drop-down list, select the type of layer you want to add (e.g., Bing maps, OSM, Google Maps, Spectrum Spatial Tiles, External WMS Layers, External WMTS Layers, or External Tiles).
  6. Click the Save button to save the change to the map project.
