This topic only applies if you are using your own default Search Index certificate. The encryption settings described here are already configured for the default Search Index certificate.
Most Spectrum server installations use the default Spectrum encryption property settings associated with the default Search Index certificate. However, if your server uses a different Search Index certificate, you need to set the Spectrum encryption settings properties in the SpectrumDirectory\index\spectrum-container.properties file to the connection values associated with your certificate.
