This procedure removes the Spectrum Technology Platform server and all installed modules from a machine. In a clustered environment, you must perform this procedure on every node in the cluster.

Before you uninstall the Spectrum Technology Platform server, back up any files that you may need in the future. Uninstalling the server will remove all data flows, data, and settings.

  1. Stop the Spectrum Technology Platform server.
To stop the server, right-click the Spectrum Technology Platform icon Image of Spectrum system tray icon in the Windows system tray and select Stop Spectrum.
  2. Run the Spectrum Technology Platform uninstaller.
    • Run the uninstaller from the Precisely folder on the Start menu.

Start > Precisely > Uninstall Spectrum Technology Platform

    • If you cannot find the Uninstall Spectrum Technology Platform command on the Start menu, look for the shortcut file in the Start Menu folder:

      C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Precisely\Spectrum Technology Platform\Server\

Note: The path for the uninstaller executable file referenced by the shortcut is:

      SpectrumDirectory\Uninstall\Uninstall_LES\Uninstall_LES.exe

  3. Optional: On the Introduction page of the uninstall wizard, you can select whether to Remove all files and folders.
Clear this checkbox to retain data files from the installation.
Note: Some folders may not be removed from the install location if files were in use during the uninstall process. We recommend that you manually delete any folders and files that are left after the uninstall.
