- On the Discovery menu bar, click Define Glossary > Business Rule.
- Click the Add business rule button.

Describe the business rule.
Business Rule
Specify the business rule (for example, Name should not be null).
Note: Entering this detail is mandatory.Tags
Add tags to your business rule to give them a relevant context. Tags are useful in categorizing the query—for example, Retail, Banking, Customer Data, and more.
The tags you add for your business rule appears on the Business Rule home page.
Rule Expression
It displays the latest expression created through any scorecard by using the business rule. For more information, see Configuring scorecard.
- After you define the fields, click Save.
