Follow these steps to install the First Quarter 2024 Enhanced International Database in a .zip format:

  1. Download the database .zip file from the Precisely Data Experience at https://support.precisely.com using the link provided in the database release notification email.
    • AD1032024_5162.zip—Contains version 5.16.2 data for the Americas.
    • AD2032024_5162.zip—Contains version 5.16.2 data for Asia-Pacific.
    • AD3032024_5162.zip—Contains version 5.16.2 data for Europe, Middle East, and Africa.
  2. Unzip the database zip file to the location you want.
Note: You may install databases on a mapped drive, but performance would be affected since you will be accessing the databases on a network rather than accessing the databases locally.
  3. If you do not already have an unlock code for the Enhanced International Address Database installed on your system, follow these steps to install the unlock code:
    1. Stop the Spectrum Technology Platform server. To stop the server, right-click the Spectrum Technology Platform icon in the Windows system tray and select Stop Server. Alternatively, you can use the Windows Services control panel to stop the Spectrum Technology Platform service.
    2. Open this file in a text editor:
      <SpectrumLocation>\server\modules\addressglobal\conf\unlockcodes.txt
    3. Enter your unlock codes, one for each line.
    4. Save and close the file.
    5. Start the Spectrum Technology Platform server. To start the server, right-click the Spectrum Technology Platform icon in the Windows system tray and select Start Server. Alternatively, you can use the Windows Services control panel to start the Spectrum Technology Platform service.
  4. At this point, the data becomes available and you can add the data as a Spectrum database resource in the Spectrum Databases section of Management Console.
