Latvia and Luxembourg: new data at premise level
The current release of the Universal POST*CODE® DataBase provides new addressing data for Latvia and Luxembourg at premise level. The Latvia dataset contains more than 1.3 million street names and premise numbers, and the Luxembourg dataset has more than 190,000 records.
Tuvalu: inclusion of postcodes
A new dataset of 25,000 records (locality and sublocality level and postcodes) has been added for Cape Verde. The new file includes settlements.
The national postcode is composed of seven numerical characters, divided into two parts separated by a hyphen. The first part designates the administrative organization (island, municipality, zone and neighborhood), and the second part represents the postal zone, comprising a grouping of buildings or blocks:
