After determining the entities for your model, you need to establish the relationships between source and target entities on the Relationships tab. These relationships represent the connection between two entities (for example, John Smith is a customer of ABC Enterprises, Inc.). As with entities, relationships may also contain properties, which you may or may not choose to include in your model.

Source ID
Select the field that contains the source entity ID in this list box.
Type in separate field
Select this check box if the source entity is contained in its own field, and select the corresponding field in the Type list box.
Label
Select the field that contains the relationship between the source and target in this list box.
Allow more than one relationship based on unique ID
Select this check box to allow a relationship to be created more than once between a source and target entity, and select the field on which to base the relationship in the Unique ID list box.
Target ID
Select the field that contains the target entity ID in this box.
Type in separate field
Select this check box if the target entity type is contained in its own field, and select the appropriate field in the Type drop-down.
Field Name grid
This grid includes all the fields from your entity input file. Select the Include box for fields whose data you want included in the model.
